Our Impact Protection Screen Protector is made from 6-layers of soft polymers designed to disperse direct impacts. It is plastic-based, and the hardness is rated at 4-5 on the MOHS scale.
By definition, it has superior impact dispersion features and will never crack, but it does not have the hardness of glass protectors.
However, there are still quite a few items that are able to scratch it. Keys and coins in a pocket will NOT scratch it under normal circumstances. Please note that micro-scratches will happen due to daily usage and the environment in which the screen protector is used.
Furthermore, it is unfortunately not fingerprint-proof. However, there is an oleophobic coating that provides a certain amount of finger smudge resistance. It keeps the grease at bay by not allowing it to adhere to the protector and making any grease easy to wipe away.
